In August 2024, we asked for feedback on our pet policy - whether you had a pet or not!
Why did we ask for feedback?
We wanted to ask you a few questions about our Pet Policy - whether you had pets or not.
We wanted your honest opinions on how we manage pets in our properties, and if our policy on this is fair. So, we put it to you.
Who did we ask for feedback?
We asked 690 customers on our Digital Panel - via email and post.
We shared the survey online across our social media channels.
33 customers responded to our online survey.
10 members of the Challenge Group reviewed the document and recommended for approval.
What you said, and what we will do
...We'll make sure to work closely with our Communications Team to put out more information about what it means to be a responsible pet owner.
...but also said that this was only after reading the policy.
We'll work with our Communications Team to schedule quarterly 'pet posts' on our social media channels - linking to our pet permission form.
...but also suggested that we make it easier to find on the website.
We'll make sure to promote our pet webpages on our website homepage.
...by updating some of the wording.
These were:
- Including 'dog flaps' in the policy.
- Rewriting point 5.3.3.
- Addressing the inconsistencies with 'insects' in points 5.2.1 and 5.3.5.
