Community Event at Calvary Church
Last Friday, we hosted a community event at Calvary Church that brought together local charities, community hubs, residents, and support workers to provide advice, have conversations, and build connections.
Stalls from a range of organisations were well attended, with visitors able to access guidance and support over tea and biscuits.
The event was held in conjunction with Calvary Food Pantry at Calvary Church.
People across the community were able to get the information about:
- Cost of living advice
- Benefits
- Housing
- Food poverty
- Training
- Health
- Security and support for all ages

After the event, our Tenancy Sustainment Officer and Neighbourhood Support Officer delivered food parcels from the pantry to vulnerable tenants.
We're already planning the future events and looking forward to meeting the community again soon.
