Our recent visit to Crabtree Court
Last week, on Wednesday 27 August 2025, staff from across the Trust headed out for a Roadshow in your area. Here’s a round-up from our afternoon in Disley.

Who we spoke to?
We visited 38 properties ans spoke to 27 people. Our team made sure all customers feedback has been logged and sent to the relevant teams to follow-up with any jobs, questions or queries that residents had.
Reminder about gas safety
While we were talking to one of the customers, our Lead Estates Operative Sam, smelled gas at their property and actioned it straight away. She called our gas team and they organised an appointment for Cadent, our gas distributor to come out urgently.
Whilst we were still at the Roadshow, Cadent workers came out and confirmed that there was a gas leak. Thanks to Sam, a potentially dangerous accident was prevented and it guaranteed customer safety.
We would like to remind you, if you smell gas or you suspect there is a gas leak at your property call National Grid immediately on 0800 111 999
Ensure you follow all advice, given below:
- Do not smoke or light matches
- Do not turn electrical switches on or off
- Open doors and windows
- Turn off the meter at the control handle unless the meter is in the cellar
- You will also have to contact us on 0800 012 1311 as we will need to attend.
