Macclesfield Crucial Crew

The highly anticipated Macclesfield Crucial Crew event is officially underway, bringing together Year 6 students for an innovative and interactive learning experience focused on personal safety and responsible citizenship.

Crucial Crew is a unique program designed to engage students in real-life scenarios to teach them essential life skills. Through a series of educational workshops and role-playing activities, Year 6 pupils are provided with important messages on safety, health, and social responsibility, all while working alongside various partner agencies such as the Police.

That's why Lucy and Lyn from our Community Support and Resolution Team will be there going above and beyond in crafting an engaging and fun-filled scenario for the students. They will be teaching students about what is and what is not anti-social behaviour.

Sue Whitehurst, Customer Support and Resolution Manager, said:

“Our participation in Crucial Crew reflects our commitment to empowering young people with essential knowledge and skills, fostering a community where every child can thrive confidently and responsibly and contribute to making our neighbourhoods even better places to live”

The Macclesfield Crucial Crew is expected to have a lasting impact on the young participants, empowering them to become more informed, safe, and responsible individuals as they step into the next phase of their educational journey.
